Business Development Manager

We are looking for a new member of our team in our Honk Kong office for the position of

Business Development Manager


The Role:

Your role as a Business Development Manager will involve identifying and generating your own leads for the pipeline, pitching to new potential clients and nurturing a good working relationship with existing and new business opportunities.

If you are a highly motivated individual who is driven by opportunity than this role will suit you. As Elevate Digital is a new company you will be working alongside the founders of the business as the first member in the initial team – what this means is that your input in the business will be meaningful and you will have tremendous opportunity to grow personally and perhaps lead your own team in the future.

If you are used to being in a large corporation and being directed as to what to do then this role would not be suitable for you as it will be self led, fast paced, adjusting, and changing.
We believe in offering high commission for top performers, and so the commission is generous and uncapped – means that your earning potential is unlimited.

Sales should not be challenging if you are a personable individual, with strong communication skills and the ability to understand and empathise with each client’s specific needs and situation.
You will need to dynamically adjust and think strategically, moving quickly with each client to present proposals that demonstrate a high level of understanding of the client’s business and their specific needs.

We are seeking an individual with exceptional English and Cantonese communication skills (on par with a native speaker).


Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach (and exceed) your sales targets

  • Know how to solution sell and present opportunity costs.

  • Developing new business relationships and sales whilst creating lasting relationships with clients

  • Respond to leads generated by our advertising and marketing methods and build his/her pipeline of potential business.

  • Creating compelling, detailed, proposals that are matched to a customer’s specific business needs. Marketing and web resources will be available to assist in the analysis and closing process.

  • Ensure the collection, maintenance, and accuracy of all customer-related activities and data in our CRM system

  • Researching and stay current with trends in the online marketing and web fields.

  • Answering in-bound customer enquiries within 12 hours and out of regular working hours as required

  • Exceeding customer expectations in the delivery of our product by ensuring an exact product fit and under promising, over delivering


Skills Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, equivalent industry experience, or relevant role experience

  • Previous online media, digital advertising or SEO sales experience is desirable however we will consider other backgrounds for the right candidate

  • The Ideal candidate will have 2+ years of proven sales experience (online marketing preferred) and the desire to be the best salesperson in the market.

  • Exceptional spoken and written English & Cantonese language skills. We love good grammar!

  • Socially confident, articulate and personable with excellent presentation skills

  • Well presented, self-motivated, organised and accountable



Salary + very generous, uncapped commission structure
